Hồn Việt began with a simple belief: a local environmental challenge can become an opportunity for a community to build a more resilient future. Leading this initiative has taken me from surveying planting sites and coordinating volunteers to learning about bamboo’s role in erosion control and local livelihoods. Seeing 420 bamboo trees planted toward our goal of 1,000 has reminded me that meaningful progress is built one small, collective action at a time.
